This
Omaha
project near Happy Hollow Country Club reflects the homeowner's
desire to have a more Arts and Craft flavor to their 1980's home.
The remodel included redesigning the Kitchen, Dining,
Bathroom and Living Rooms.
Multi-colored and multi-patterned slate was designed
throughout the Kitchen and Dining Room, as well as backsplash areas
above countertops and also as the fireplace facing in the Living
Room.
The Kitchen was
re-configured for better food preparation and easier circulation
with views to the backyard.
The metal Kitchen hood was designed and then locally
fabricated and finished by a local faux painter to reflect aged
steel.
Custom glass
pendants and plenty of overall recessed lights were incorporated to
show off the natural granite island counter.
All cabinetry was site stained in different soft colors of
cherry, beige and light chocolate adding interest and breaking up
the scale of the Kitchen. |
