How
do you take a small, dark, dreary Kitchen and add life, interest and
delight? Start with wonderful
clients who like French Country living.
These empty nester homeowners came to us seeking a fresher, more
open Kitchen, a Screened-in Gazebo, and a new Deck.
Luckily they had a perfect backyard with a lot of room and a
terrific view of an adjacent park. The
design incorporated a 360 degree octagonal Gazebo, an expanded Deck to
capture views and an addition and remodel to the current Kitchen.
The Kitchen used a variety of materials, (i.e. flagstone floors,
tiled island, wood beamed ceilings and knotty pine cabinetry) to elaborate
on the cozy, soothing and yet playful French Country Style.
If you listen carefully you’ll hear the ducks quacking on the
kitchen table. |
